Thanksgiving Day 2009

We started our Thanksgiving morning with a bike ride. It was quite a cool morning, but a beautiful sunny day. Six years ago on this date my dad celebrated his 80th and last birthday. On that same day we had an ultra sound that showed us a beautiful little boy. My dad didn't live to see our precious little boy. He died eight days prior to his birth. I wish they could have known each other.
We have much to be thankful for this year as we have had for many years. Thank you God for this beautiful little boy and our happy family.

Junior Razorback

Brodie got to go down on the field at the last home Razorback game as part of the Junior Razorback program. It was lots of fun. Malcom Shepherd was sooo nice to all the little kids. Since it was senior night we got to see several of the players up close while they were waiting to be introduced to the crowd. Very fun and interesting.

Trick or Treat

For Halloween 2009 we trick or treated with the Kade and Kamden and watched the Razorback game. We had a really fun night. After the boys finished trick or treating they passed out candy to the other trick or treaters. That was almost as much fun as the trick or treating I think. After we turned out the lights (all candy gone) they stood at the door and and imagined all kinds of spooks and scary stuff. It was so fun to listen to them. It was a great night of memories.

The New School Fall Festival

Brodie invited JC to go to the Fall Carnival with him. They had big fun even though
it was an incredibly rainy night and we all got soaked getting to the arena.

Pumpkin Carving Party 2009

Our 3rd annual pumpkin party was great fun for us and hopefully
those in attendance. We fought the rain all day, but it was clear
and beautiful for the party. There was a big downpour right after
the party ended. Brodie, Ben and I went to the front porch and decorated
our pirate pumpkin and watched and listened to the rain. What a great night.
