Christmas play 2010
Brodie was an elf in his Christmas play at The New School this year. This was fitting as he loved the show Elf when we went to New York.
Playing piano at the nursing home
In December Brodie's piano teacher set up a recital at the University of Arkansas. He would play on a baby grand piano on a big stage. We were so excited. Prior to that he invited himself to go with his friend Xavier and his piano teacher to play at the nursing home. He went up and played Doe a Dear from the Sound of Music. It was a really fun time. It was a really good thing he participated in this "recital" as I wrote his recital down on the wrong date so we totally missed it. I was really upset, but I guess it all worked out. I was really proud of Brodie. Even though he was very uncomfortable talking to the residents he pushed himself to do it.Monday, December 20, 2010
Cookie Decorating
Some friends came over for some cookie decorating. The recipe said it was so simple and easy. We decided that maybe Taste of Home had more skilled decorators
than us. Lots of fun but way harder than it seemed.

Silver Dollar City Christmas
We headed to Silver Dollar City with friends for a little Christmas fun. Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!
